Interview with the Earth - Sociodrama, Arts and Ecopsychology in action against climate change

This is the „Interview with the Earth- Sociodrama, Arts and Ecopsychology in action against climate change” project page, which is implemented in partnership between the Panta Rhei Association in Romania and the Ecopsychology Association in Hungary, in the framework of the Erasmaus plus K2 project for the period 2022-2024.

The site was created to share the concept and activities of our project, in which we believe.

We believe that a change of mindset is one of the key drivers of the environmental and climate change prevention movements.

The methods used by our associations are an excellent way to help and support this process. We are aware that large-scale results are not immediate and at the same time we are confident that our thorough, persistent and consistent work will have positive results.

The project idea was born out of the need to find new creativ solutions for environmental impacts of climate change. We believe that long-term and sustainable change is based on changing our attitude towards our environment and changing perspectives in terms of the relationship between the individual and Nature.

We are witnessing massive ecological destruction and devastation as a result of our insatiable consumption habits, to which we are simply exploiting and using our Earth’s resources, subsoil and reserves without reversal.

The primary cause of this exploitation is our human perception that we are separate and not a part of the natural world, and this sense of separation lead us actually the environmental crisis.

In this project we support the awareness of the need for a change of attitude, that is the recognition that man is part of nature and does not dominate, uses nature. As an element of the natural and social system, she or he is affected by all external events and herself or himself reacts to nature at all times through his actions, thoughts, activities or even passivity.

The partner associations involved in the project, are focusing their programmes and events, on supporting personal development, conscious living and on building better quality relationship with the world around them.

Playback Theatre Companies of the partner associations are an important factor in building community and achieving change in views, attitudes and perceptions.
Playback theatre is a creative resource for community which produces outcomes highly relevant to share common issues.

Working with environmental an climate change issues this events can have a positive impact on the audience by sharing stories, experiences, feeling regarding to environment and climate change which can raising awareness and responsibility toward daily life impact on the environment.
